Again Tucker comes through, this time by hosting the Babylon Bee CEO, who noted that the New York Times removed their accusation of “misinformation” source against The Bee after a lawsuit threat. In other words, the New York Times admitted that they are the misinformation source, not the Bee.

New York Times admits it smeared the Babylon Bee

    ...
The Times story now features a correction, "An earlier version of this article referred imprecisely to the Babylon Bee, a right-leaning satirical website, and a controversy regarding the handling of its content by Facebook and the fact-checking site Snopes. While both Facebook and Snopes previously have classified some Babylon Bee articles as misinformation, rather than satire, they have dropped those claims, and the Babylon Bee denies that it has trafficked in misinformation."

The Times confirmed the authenticity of the letter published by Dillon but declined additional comment.

"This is huge. The NY Times was using misinformation to smear us as being a source of it. That's not merely ironic; it's malicious. We pushed back hard and won. Thanks to everyone who voiced and offered their support. We don't have to take this nonsense lying down. Remember that," Dillon tweeted.

This is the sort of exposure that “rubs it in the face” of those tiresomely condescending, deeply deceived folk who imagine their own “news sources” are more legitimate than Carlson or Fox News. Now they can officially add the New York Times to their list of illegitimate sources.

It was far more insidious than a “smear”. The Times was attempting to lay a foundation of “misinformation” that the Tech companies could then use to ban the site altogether.

They were trying to put them out of business.

    peace to you

Define Irony: Leftist NYT accusing any other reporting publication of reporting misinformation. :Laugh

How hard would it have been to search, Babylon Bee, and find out on the first page of any search engines results page that BB is Satire.
    Love BB.

Exactly right. Such is the Dem Progressive Left. They are dead set on silencing every voice that dares expose their vileness.

Their villainy is all too plain here. One would have to be willfully blind not to see it.

Yes, but it's much worse than that.

There is no plausible deniability here, thus this is yet another case of their typical hypocrisy, perhaps thinly disguised as irony. They knowingly accuse of what they themselves are guilty. Their moral depravity is bottomless. Such is the Dem Progressive Left.
