God is omnipresent and permeates all. But only the born again can see the kingdom. This also rules out a physical kingdom even the most vile can see.

 

How can this be that "We are presently in the kingdom of God" as you say above , yet being flesh and blood physical beings as you have said in other places is impossible Dave?

Therefore the kingdom of God can indeed be in the world but not of the world because "God (Jesus) is omnipresent and permeates all.".

 

We are in the first resurrection aka the new birth. Our bodies will follow along in the resurrection on the last day.

 

I think so far (except for ideas of the future status of the kingdom) we are in agreement.

 

If you consider Jesus' description of the kingdom, nothing approaching a physical kingdom in this world is possible. And if you press popular end time teachings to their limit, only saints in glorified bodies would populate an earthly millennium for Satan to deceive and rally as Gog and Magog against the rest after the 1000 years end.

 

That is at the second coming itself, but when Jesus then sets up His kingdom here on earth, those left alive to go into it are normal humans!

 

The firest resurrection is at the time of the second coming for the saved in Chriist, the second one will be for the lost, as they await the Great White Judgement!

 

Not true, as those holding to preMil see the surviviors alive at end of the Great tribulation in normal bodies populating it!

 

They see all sorts of things scripture knows nothing of.

John stated that the first resurrected happens when the saints have been glorified in Christ, right?

 

At that time His kingdom was in heaven, but He will bring it down to earth!

 

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)

“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

 

The Kingdom was in Him, and ever saved person gets into it by new birth, but he will extend it over whole earth at His second coming!
