No Assault Rifle Used at Sandyhook confirmed

This video from the Today show updates the Sandyhook shooting. It is now reported that the only guns recovered from inside the school were hands guns. The assault rifle was left in the car and was never used at the Sandyhook school to kill anyone.

There is some doubt the story is true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

That was an early report that was based on false information. The state police confirmed last week that there were 2 pistols and a Bushmaster in the school and a rifle found in the car.

The video you linked is very old - from the first day or second day and it even has a link right at the beginning to go to newer information that confirms that it was the Bushmaster that did the killing.
