Sadly, I just can't bring myself to trust our president with this huge issue, though it is his right to do this.
On the other hand, if it was Reagan saying this, I'd trust him to do what is absolutely right for the nation.
It's all a matter of trust and truth-telling I suppose, eh?
The Bush administration was much worse.
The CIA and FBI refused to answer questions about 9/11.
In fact so did the President, Vice President, and the Sec. of State. Bush only agreed to answer questions if:
1. He wasn't under oath,
2. Both he and Cheney appeared at the same time,
3. No video, audio or note taking was allowed'
Of course as usual, he also could answer every question with "That's classified and I can't respond to it."
