I repeat: No national coverage of this racial hate crime pattern in the media.
Apparently some victims are unworthy, and some hatred and violence is justified.
Is Obama going to say anything? Call at least one of the victims? Attempt to bring calm? Attempt a "Sister Souljah" moment (which could actually benefit him politically) and call out violent black racists?Apparently not, and the media has decided that's their preferred political strategy, too.
A personal note of thanx to the folks on this board who helped to sensationalize this story.
No national media coverage if yer white.

No.
Obama is a black man first. President is further down the line and calmer of racial tensions doesn't exist at all.
Instead he's he's a provoker. An inciter. -
It's really sad is what it is.
Jesse Jackson, etc...could really make a statement by coming out against "hate crimes" when they are black on white and not white on black.
But...nothing will be said, because "who cares about a white person getting it"
That's not a #1 news at 6 headline story. -
It is troubling. And along similar lines, liked Bernie Goldberg's warning about citizens loosing faith in their media's reporting.

If Obama had a son, he wouldn't look like that guy, would he?

Black guy goes into a "white" bar and gets beat up: hate crime.
White guy goes into a "black" bar and gets beat up: worst case of attempt suicide we have ever seen. -
These people don't want justice for Trayvon. These people are short fuses just looking for a match, which they found. With the race baiters around fanning the flames, I would have to say that we may see a long, hot, dirty summer if Zimmerman is not made an example of.

Today's NY Times has an article about a white man shooting (killing) an unarmed young black man in rural Georgia and getting essentially a slap on the wrist. They analyze why so many of these stories don't break into national feeding frenzy.
