That means no state services to gays as legally recognized couples while the court battle rages on. Naturally, gays are outraged. They don't seem to understand that they as the minority are bound by the decisions of the majority. Then again, most of the country seems to have forgotten that the last few years.
I don't know that our Constitution ever intended for us to have a system of majority rule. But as that is politics, I don't really care.
I would like to know why we say we're against this but we keep calling it gay "marriage"? There simply is no such thing BIBLICALLY. So it might be a good idea if we in the Church stopped referring to it as such.
Call 'em gay unions or something. But marriage it is not.
You can't seriously be making that statement. :BangHead:
To you and I, no. But they are calling it "gay marriage," and since they are giving "marriage licenses" and performing "wedding ceremonies," they think they are "married" and will continue to call it that.
