A military analyst believes the U.S. armed forces would suffer immensely if Barack Obama becomes the next Commander-in-Chief.

Mr. Patterson sounds like he is either a bitter Senator Clinton supporter or a shill for Senator McCain.

In one sense, no soldier wants to leave the fight or they feel all their buddies died for nothing. I can relate to that feeling. It also happened after Vietnam. You also feel like you lost if you quit before the objective is achieved.

The other side to this is Iraq is a can't win situation. The only peaceful solution is to divide the country and give each group their own land. The problem is deciding who gets the oil fields and who gets the worthless northern part.

    It's to be expected.

The morale of the military suffered immensely under Carter and Clinton.

Reagan restored the morale of the despirited forces Carter left behind , as did the current President Bush for the Clinton forces.

Liberals dislike, abuse, and have no respect for military personnel. They know it.
