WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are neck and neck in opinion polls, but there is one area in which the incumbent appears to have a big advantage: those who have already cast their ballots.
Obama leads Romney by 59 percent to 31 percent among early voters, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling data compiled in recent weeks.
The sample size of early voters is relatively small, but the Democrat's margin is still well above the poll's credibility interval - a measurement of polls' accuracy - of 10 percentage points.
With the November 6 election just more than three weeks away, 7 percent of those surveyed said they had already voted either in person or by mail.

Alright Romney spin machine. Let's see how you paint a positive face on this one.
Will it be the accuracy or the source or some other diabolical excuse?

It is easy to address this poll, it was conducted online;
Older folks who are far more likely to vote do not use the computer as much as younger persons. Young people tend to favor Obama, and so will naturally win any online poll.
If you think Obama is going to beat Romney 59 to 31 in the actual election, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in, I will give you a good deal.

You are referencing a poll - and that is all what it is - a poll.
And yes - accuracy is a major factor.
Polls can be accurate - if they are don properly- and unbiased.
I am not saying the poll in question is biased, but......
BTW, you seem to be gleaming that Obama is leading - why is that?

Because the faster he wins , the quicker this election mess can be over, and he can continue his systematic destruction of the country and Jesus will come on back and get His people on out of here.

So you believe that it only takes the destruction of America for Jesus to come back? Somehow I don't believe that is what you are thinking.

You really think Jesus' return is contingent on the political results of an election in a country where 6% of the world's population resides.

It will not be over any sooner than when the polls close on election day.
...Unless Obama loses and pulls an Al Gore and ties it up in the courts.
Ah, so this is why you are in the tank for him.
It's a theological thing with you.:tonofbricks:

You are a <PA deleted LE>. 1) For thinking that something you do will hasten or delay Christ's Return, and 2) for thinking suicide is a shortcut to heaven.

Not what I said. Biblically the United States has to be diminished to the point where it's no longer a major player and one individual can step in and attempt to bring the "peace"
that the world's lone superpower has been at the forefront of providing.

I'm not voting for the President. So there's really no need to address the second part of your post.

Er .... um, it's pretty much exactly what you said.
So, the United States is all that is holding the Antichrist at bay?

er, um if it were pretty much exactly what I said, you could go back a quote that to be verbatim what I said. As you cannot, :wavey:
If YOU say so.

I'm growing more and more skepticle of election results. The first thing I thought of when I read the OP was all the corruption that will no doubt take place during this election.

I thought about that too and how it seemed awfully strange that so many more Dems would be voting early than Repubs.
There's just something in the whole process that seems to be a perfect cover for corruption.

One of his first acts as president was to rescind the Mexico City policy thereby allowing foreign aid to be used to perform abortions.
Not that you care.
You are like CTB, a rabid Obama follower!
President Obama signed an executive order today reversing the ban that prohibits funding to international family planning groups that provide abortions, as first reported by ABC News.
Under the hotly debated "Mexico City Policy," the U.S. government could not provide funding for family planning services to clinics or groups that offered abortion-related services overseas, even if funding for those activities came from non-government sources. It essentially barred recipients of U.S. foreign aid from promoting abortion as a method of family planning.
