I heard this audio on the radio yesterday and thought it was a spoof from Saturday Night Live…both stories.
It was the real deal…this is really happening America…before our very eyes…this is so disturbing on many levels…now is not the time to remain silent my friends…wake up and shout from the rooftops (but not like the weirdo in the video)…America is being destroyed by a master of deception…We are soooooo ripe for the Antichrist.
So is the problem these people actually believe in their president? What is it we're supposed to shout from the rooftops? That the GOP lost the last election?
The problem, my friend, is that the woman basically asked the President, the person she wants to believe in, to buy her a house. She practically pleaded with him to give her a house. And he never said, "I'm not going to do that." So she left with the impression that he's going to provide her a house.
Methinks our president is finding out this job is harder than he thought.
These are her exact words, where did she ask him to buy her a house.
And by the way, I'm glad everyone doesn't feel like you regarding her plea for help. Many people have this new spirit in America and now she has a place to stay...
Oh, and Julio Osegueda was offered a new job. Besides the few sad sacks from the GOP who have a bur in their saddle I am really proud of the way this country is binding together to help each other through these terribly tough times. Everyday I am seeing someone reach out their hand to pull up someone who is down. If you don't see the change it's because you don't want to see the change.
So why did he nix his own plan to increase the number of troops in Afghanistan? Didn't he promise an increase of 30,000 troops? But just as the SECDEF was initiating the first wave of 17,000, it was decided that the military didn't have a good enough plan, and they've been put on hold. Why didn't he just follow through on his plan?
Perhaps you should re-read those words yourself. She basically asked him to provide her a home.
I'm happy that a Republican offered them a place rent-free.
But what message does that send the thousands of others that are in the same situation she's in? That the government will take care of you, instead of giving the abilities and opportunities to take care of yourself?
"Give a man a fish," and all that....
I see a change towards a welfare state. Where we don't help people by teaching them to help themselves, but by encouraging them to seek hand-outs and "gimmes."
Never before in this country have we had the spirit we have now. For the past 232 years we have just been floundering, awaiting the arrival of "0". Now all Americans will be able to help the ones around us who are suffering. Thank you "0" for opening our eyes and hearts, I for one will be forever grateful.
I agree he might have overdone the excitement a bit but we're all wired a little different. He is working his way though college via a McDonald's job so I would think he's an example of perseverance and hard work.
