Thank you, I thought that to be an understood.

Again, that's exactly why President Obama said what he said last summer to and about the Speaker of the House.

    It was a cheap jab.

That was perfectly understood as was what you ACTUALLY typed.
Congress was NOT controlled by the Democrats.

So Congress was not controlled by the Democrats and that's what made the President say what he did?

Could it be that he said what he said because it was the truth?

Well, of course, Congress was controlled by the Democrats in that the Senate had enough votes to uphold a Democrat veto of any action providing relief to working people from the high taxes and general Democrat oppression and freedom denial. The situation is much the same at this time. For example, Obama is using indictments to silence his enemies but his friends such as Harry Reid are not indicted.

Again, sheer foolishness. But it's the politics people play.

It takes 2/3 vote to override a veto. The GOP does not have 2/3 majority in either house so Democrat vetoes can be sustained. So the people still suffer under Democrat policies and Democrat oppression of freedom. That is what CBT is gloating about.

So the real problem is that he's not doing what the GOP wants.

No, the real problem is that the GOP does not have a leader who will speak out against Obama's repression and Obama's ruinous economic policies and there are not enough GOP votes in Congress, as CBT gloats about, to override an Obama veto.

However, it looks as if Obama remains unpopular and Hillary remains personally distasteful to the Democrats themselves.

So what? It's the Dems complaining about the same thing wHEN THE GOP is in the White House.

Not as unpopular as the GOP.

You think that the Dems will unite behind Hillary? Will Cherokee woman be her VP candidate?

They want to win. So yes, they'll unite behind her if she wants to run.

    .

    I agree.

The question becomes, will the GOP unite behind anyone?

Oh, I think that Hillary is tired and sick but Bill is forcing her to run. Do you think that blacks will turn out for Hill they way they did for Obam@? (Hillary won't get any GOP votes--the GOP does not like the Clintons and thinks that they are crooks.)

Not if they pretend to support good Christian values all the while backing a candidate who rejects Jesus.

    Now THAT is funny.

    Ask them.

She doesn't need any GOP votes.

Boehner is Speaker of the House of Representatives in which Republicans regained the majority in 2010. The Senate was still controlled by Dems in 2014.

    [add]

    Disregard, Zaac already caught it.

Seems to be pretty representative of both major parties.
