Obama's "My way or the highway" speech in Vegas not only showed the GOP and America that with or without Congress [his term for the GOP], his immigration reform will go through.

Can we say that illegals, of all races, will get an early Christmas present this year? :laugh:

And in doing so, he is covertly forcing gay marriage down our throats as his plan for amnesty will include accepting same-gender couples.

This is the not his first mention of support for same gender marriage, and it won't be his last. He will circumvent the system and the states with one way or another to get a federally approved same gender marriage certificate approved.

Check out this statement from Felipe Sousa-Rodriguez, of LGBT immigrants rights groups GetEQUAL following Obama's speech today in Vegas" “We need President Obama to show real and tangible leadership on immigration issues,” said Felipe Sousa-Rodriguez, of LGBT immigrants rights groups GetEQUAL, in a statement. “Hundreds of thousands of LGBT immigrants like myself would benefit from that call in enormous ways while we wait for Congress to act.”

Obama has voiced support for legislation that would give same-sex citizen-immigrant couples rights enjoyed by heterosexual couples....Republicans are opposed to even mentioning same-sex couples in draft legislation.

Obama is going to change the face of America, and I believe him when he says, "He'll write his own bill and send it to them [Congress] for a vote, if they don't do what he wants and do it quickly!

How in the world do you get this out of his speech yesterday? Or out of Republican reaction to his speech? Or out of the Senate's immigration bill?

It's a smart political move. He keeps placing the GOP in no-win situations. No matter what they do they alienate a much needed voter bloc. These issues will have a huge impact in the 2014 and 2016 elections.

It may be "Hardly newsworthy for you" but it is a signal to this country and the church that Obama will, one way or another, sneak same-gender marriage into this or another package of legislative changes. Watch and see, grasshopper! :smilewinkgrin:

A true leader would be tackling the economy. The economy is our number-one problem. Adding eleven or twelve million illegal immigrants to citizen status will only further cripple the turn around in jobs.

He is not leading us forward, but rather into a divide of different views that will only further separate this country.

....Obama may not be the smartest prez, but he is going to be remembered for being one of the crafties ever. Even better than "Billyboy" Clinton!
He is setting the GOP up for failure by tacking on things that he knows they will object to, or lose constituent support [on moral issues]. It's that old darned if the do; and darned if they don't! He knows they want an illegal bill to win back HIspanic support, but he also knows the GOP will more than likely fight to stop the same-gender thing. The GOP can't win for losing!

Obama reminds me of the snake in the garden. asking Eve if that is what God really said. Crafty and cunning his way to get his way in changing the face, values and morals of this nation!
