So much for the lie that Obama is the one willing to compromise. I feel sorry for those who were willing to believe the DNC talking points.

White House sources are telling Democratic reporters that the president is willing to go over the so-called “fiscal cliff” if GOP leaders don’t agree to his demand for higher tax rates on the wealthy without substantive spending cuts.

Negotiating posturing. No way does he want to be remembered for two recessions during his watch.

Willing?

Wants to. It gives him everything he wants.

With liberal control of the media, they can make sure republicans get the blame.

Quite the opposite.

Remember he can still blame it on Bush and the Republicans. He has his scapegoat.

Never let a good crisis go to waste when you want to fundamentally change America.

His halo will glow even more brightly, when like the Phoenix, America rises from the ashes with him in the lead.

I think they know the end of Adlai's quote and use it rather well.
Adlai Stevenson said, "A lie is an abomination unto the Lord—and a very present help in trouble."

They taught me years ago in some sale's seminar I attended or maybe I read it in a book, but it has proven to be true - when negotiating, the one who is willing to say "take it or leave it" and actually willing to walk away from the deal, is the one who usually ends up with the deal.

Obama has demonstrated he is willing to walk. Watch these lily livered Republicans cave. Republicans ALWAYS cave.

But, hey, this is what America voted for, fiscal cliff and all, and this is what America got. Wait until Santa's bag goes empty.

Maybe Santa will deliver us another war to take our minds off the "cliff". The mass conditioning has already begun. All the politicians and corporate talking heads are hard at work priming us for the "Syrian" intervention now.
