I buy the cheapest sham/real poo that I can find - I sometimes use the expensive stuff my wife buys and doesn't like - but I can't see that it cleans my hair (what's left of it!) any better than the cheap stuff!

Dan - but I want my shrimp to be real!

Ask the ladies, but shampoo is not created equal. The damage most do to hair is amazing.

And men don't usually care, but it may harm the little hair some have remaining.

I use the same shampoo I have used for years...Pert. It's shampoo AND conditioner all in one! (Anything to save time!)

Use the same soap to wash my hair as I use to wash my body..good old Ivory. It does the job.

I use some Swiss Aussie stuff that comes in a big pump bottle. The cheaper the better. I don's use cream rinse. My hair is baby fine even tho I do have a lot of it.

What about deoderant? I buy store brand roll on there too. I'm VERY thrifty even when we do have an income.

I shower and use soap...Don't need deodorant...save more money and let the body take care of itself. I don't like stinking; artificially or otherwise.

Not sure with hot flashes and night sweats if going without would be good right now! YIKES!

So, did we figure out a car for Dr. Bob? He's a big dude so he'd need a big car. I like my smaller vehicle. You have a truck, right Jim? Do all the guys have trucks? I think we're the only people in Georgia who have never owned a truck! Or a gun rack!! LOL

I have a truck and Mary has the car. In the country, one must have a truck. Remember, I live in the sticks on 100 acres. We collect all our own firewood and other farm chores. I only drive the truck to the village and on the farm.

Having a truck sure makes sense! For us, it wouldn't be wise. There's such laws about car seats, front seats, etc. and there's the 4 of us here. Not sure how we'd work that out. My Jim would like to have a truck, tho. He's always saying he could haul things or even use the dump instead of having to pay for trash pick-up.

winds are common in the UK, especially close to the coast where the gale force winds strike. Water can rise as high as a building.

It is cold here, but snow has let off..only a few more weeks....

A truck is very expensive to own. I am sure what you pay for trash disposal is much cheaper than owning a truck.

I used to have three horses, and the truck was used to trailer the horses to veterinary, or just move them about. As an architect, I am also going to building sites and a car is ok, but the grounds are always rough and the truck can take it better.

I tore down the garage in the fall - took the seats out of the van - and hauled it all to the landfill tranfer station in the van.

Dan - would like a truck - but'll probably never have one!

I'm sure you're right Jim. Thinking of it now, even the insurance would be more than the $14.00 a month we pay for trash pickup once a week.

It's pretty easy to borrow a truck around here too. When we paneled our rec room in the downstairs, our next door neighbor not only loaned us his truck but went with Jim to help load, carried everything in for us and offered to help put it up. What a nice neighbor we had. He's moved a few miles away now but still a neighbor.

Now don't be telling these Georgia folk that we have NO gun, NO dog and NO truck PLUS hubby won't eat grits or they'll drive us outta town on a rail!

Pick ups must breed out here in the West, since there are so many. And since we don't use salt on the roads, we have no rust problems -- meaning we have 30 years old F150's that still belch oil!

But don't they have real control problems, with no weight in the back? Or if 4-wheel, isn't that gas guzzling?
