I just watched the movie on DVD tonight. Was very entertaining and dramatic right up to the point they used Lawrence O'Donnell as the news anchor. I know Hollywood is liberal but Larry O as the face of televised news in America. I really almost tuned it off. There's my rant, sorry if I wasted your time.
The more I remember what happened in the movie, the more silly it seems. Way too many impossible senarios, but I guess that is why it's a movie. Good testosterone Man Cave style movie. But I still can't get over choosing Lawrence O'Donnell as the TV Anchor, I guess everyone else had the sense to stay away from it. Besides Obama, O'Donnell's mug on the TV makes me ill, very ill. Ever heard what he thinks about Christians? I think he has horns on his forehead.
Warning, there is a lot of F-bombs in the film, even by women. Just your normal everyday street and office vocabulary.
I understand and agree about O'Donnell. We saw Red 2 with Bruce Willis and others. It wasn't as fun as the first Red. But testosterone movies are a necessity sometimes.
A completely different movie was Parental Guidance with Billy Crystal and Bette Midler. Very funny and a syrupy sweet ending. But it was about couples who had stayed together and raised a family.
