Urge Virgin Mobile to pull their hard core sexual commercials
Dear OneMillionMoms.com member:
The cell phone provider, Virgin Mobile USA, is currently running two hard core sexual commercials. Virgin Mobile USA, LLC is a joint venture between Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group (London based), and Sprint, which operates the largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide wireless network.
Here is the way a member of OneMillionMoms described the indecent Virgin Mobile commercials:
On January 28th I saw two Virgin Mobile commercials. The first one was showing lovers in parked cars with the windows all steamed up and you could hear moans and groans of lovers inside the cars... The second was appalling to me! It was... showing scenes from various instruments and machines going in an in and out motion as if a sexual act... at the end of it is showed different things like geysers and stuff like an orgasm. It was disgusting. How can we expect our teenagers to abstain when there are ads like this?
A member of OneMillionDads offered this description:
I was watching college basketball Monday night and saw a commercial that was porn. The company is Virgin Mobile. The commercial setting was was at a drive-in-movie and the main play was on the word virgin. I do not remember what the sentences said written on the windows because I was in shock by what was going on in the background of the commercial. Cars with fogged up windows were bouncing up and down and women were groaning and moaning indicating sexual intercourse. This was happening throughout the entire commercial. This commercial was outrageous and I am just thankful that my children were not sitting there watching a "basketball game" when that commercial came on. I am still in shock.
Send your email urging Virgin Mobile to pull the inappropriate commercials. After you send your letter, remember to forward this to a friend!

I'm really out of touch with what goes on in television. I got rid of mine a while back, and realized afterwards what a blessing it was to have it out of my home. I know it was getting progressively worse over the past few years I had it, so I can't imagine how much more lenient they've become since.
We're a sex based society, sex sells, and there's not many people who won't go where the money is. What's really sad is how much if affects our children. I was looking for kids music in the store not long ago and most of what's being sold are adult songs sung by children, most of which include some type of theme that has to do with relationships. And parents BUY IT! There's way too many people who just need to have some common sense slapped into them!
