She may not even realize it herself.

For starters, the quote is misleading. Governor Bush did not order the deaths of any offender in TDCJ, the people of the great state of Texas decided the fates of those murderers.

Secondly, that whole website is moronic. They use Gary Graham and Karla Faye Tucker as their "poster people", yet Graham was convicted for murder and multiple attempted murders, including shooting a man's legs off with a shotgun, and Tucker murdered a man and woman with a hatchet.

Frankly, I think the people of Texas were rather lenient on these butchers. They should have been beaten and then hanged.

TH, I think it's rather comical that prophecynut considers Texans to be without brains, yet we have got you all in California by the throats to pay more for oil and gas. We have no brains, yet we somehow have outsmarted yall. Go figure.

Well, BJR, there are a couple of ways to look at that. We in California pay more because we have such strict pollution laws. In the 60's when I was a kid, we had many, many smog alerts during the summer. It has been years since we've had one! So, I say it's worth the price for the extra high grade oil and the extra refining

But there again, this is something that was voted, so the people spoke.

Aslanspal, yes, we are adrift. And yes, the messages coming from the White House are in constant flux. And yes, Bush will do and say whatever he can to keep his precious votes and his precious approval numbers. These are the things that men do when they are overcome with an evil we call pride. He is using God's name in vain. His pre-emptive war, waged without cause or justification... meaning there was not clear and present danger or threat to the US at the time, screams of a terrorist act! That begs for someone to do the same thing to us!
