A poll designed to check current attitudes on this board about our military presence in Iraq.

apparently my clone
and I voted -- 2 votes that are identical. It's nice to not always be out on that limb alone

Well, It's looking like the naysayers on the BB are only a small but vocal minority.
How can they support some of their opinions?
Especially the one that says OBL will stop terrorist attacks if we leave the Middle East!

Well, I voted, but only as I tried to read through the bias and get to the real meaning behind the questions.

"Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events".

I'm sorry hardsheller, but has anyone ever told you that the results of push-polls, such as yours, are completely fruitless? The results cannot be used, in any logical debate, because the questions were so biased. What exactly was your point in the first place? (other than to make anyone, who does not share your political beliefs, look like a lunatic?)

There never has been a poll created that didn't have some kind of bias.
Get used to it.
We live in a biased world.

Most polls are biased -- which is why I pay absolutely no attention to any of them. This was fun.

The wording of the poll is biased.
For instance, one question asked whether the war was about oil.
A simple yes or no would have been fair.
Instead, the yes answer included the assumption that Bush and others are making money on it.
Anyway, it looks to me like those against Bush policies are about 1/3 of those on the board.
I wouldn't call that small.

The anti-war folks are a minority on this board.
I consider 1/3 to be a very poor showing for the opposition to defeating al Qaeda's wing in Iraq.
Show the anti-war folks what you think about their position, Puff.
