I found this on a FB page I am one.
What advice would you give
I have been pastoring for 4 years now at the church I am at, I have an assistant pastor which is also the former pastor of the same church. We met a few months ago and was discussing the church and it’s progress and he gave me an A- ??? And talked about my wife not being able to come due to her health issues which keeps her from coming at times which I explained to him ( and his wife hasn’t been to church with him in 20 years or more due to her health)I feel like that I’m being pushed out as pastor, just comments he has made and making and asking me if I wanted to pastor a different church. I have been praying about this for a while before our meeting and feel like it’s time for me to leave, but just don’t know for sure if that makes sense. And the meeting maybe just conformation as well but need guidance.. I hope this make sense.

The church Congregation or elders or an association or conference, etc.
What prompted him to vacate the pulpit, previously?
Is he doing the work of a servant as A.P., or just a political position figurehead?
Are there men or elders or deacons that can pray with you? How much unity is there? How much support is there in the church body? Does what the church body has to say mean anything? -
He did state there are no elders or deacons -in the church-
I then asked him if there were any solid members he could talk to. -
The pastor is the pastor. Give the assistant pastor a report card and suggest improvements.
