There is always two sides to an issue that we may disregard because we only think about ourselves. My point is do not pick one and avoid the other. If people do not want to pay taxes because they think they are high then something must be cut. If the elderly people think we should not have medical care for everyone then we should cut it and not have it for anyone.gb93433, you certainly do have a way of taking both sides of an issue at the same time, while not making any discernable sense.
You must be spoofing us!
A few months ago a man who has loads of money was griping and told me that everyone should pay for their own medical care. I told him that I would be in favor of that if we did away with all medical care for free including Medicare. He never said another word again. He likes to complain about taxes, and many other things. I pointed out when the highest taxes were and he told me that it could not be so. I knew that I could remember when I paid a much higher percentage than I do now and I was making much less and did not live as well. He quickly remembered that he was getting his medical bills paid for by Medicare. Medicare is medical care for the elderly paid for by the taxpayers.
