No, they didn't crucify Jesus. Jesus was not a victim of the Jews or anyone else. Jesus went to the cross because Jesus was in sovereign control of the events surrounding his death. Jesus laid down His life and He took it up again. Jesus was sacrifice for our sins. He gave his life; it wasn't taken from Him. If you spent some time in your Bible instead of trying to read it through the lens of humanistic Liberalism, you would know that.

There was an historical act of the crucification of Jesus. It was part of God's plan but somebody did it.

Yes it was. But you are assigning blame to the Jews, when in fact it was Jesus' intention to go to the cross. He was born for it. He was not a victim of man. He was the Lamb of God sacrificed for us. He went to the cross and He was in sovereign control of that event. He gave up His life on the cross. No one took His life.

I think we all drift sometimes.
Sometimes it is just following a minor point slightly off-subject, but other times it is a specific attempt to shift the topic of the thread; and we know the source of the bulk of this “drift”!:Whistling

I used to be amazed when a neighbor came over & she & my wife would start a conversation. Inevitably before one topic was completed another was instigated.
I told them that they NEVER finished a conversational topic ‘cause one of them always headed off on a tangent from something the other had just said.

I am a strong Christian. I resent your questioning that.

    Yep.

This is exactly what Peter's sermon states in Acts 2.

I am not questioning that. I am saying that you are approaching this from a humanistic standpoint and not a Christian standpoint.

Liberal ideology is very humanistic and is the antithesis of Christian values and you need to start lining up your theology with the Bible.

Stop [dealing falsely with] people you don't even know and stop charactizing all members of a group as the same. That is the definition of discrimination.

Interesting coming from someone who has repeatedly accused me and all conservatives as being allies with white supremacists and Neo-Nazis.

I am talking about Liberal ideology and I am not lying about it either. Liberalism is anti-American. It is animated by Progressivism which wants to scrap our Constitution. Progressivism is the modern way of saying "Communism." Liberalism has supported the most radical, anti-American agendas we see today being pushed by the Democrats. It is the truth. They devalue human life and they devalue solid traditional American values.

You need to go back and learn what discrimination is. You are not being discriminated against. You are being corrected.

I said it was Neo-Nazi's that organized the march in Charlottsville. Where did I say that ALL conservatives are white supremacists or Nazi's?

Thread has reached enough posts and degree of uselessness to be closed.
So it is (long, useless, and closed).

Please continue the discussion (I don't even know what the topic is anymore), in a civil manner, should you find a need remains by starting a new thread.
