Does God listen to our prayers?
Does he listen harder when more people pray?

I don't like the options that were given so i didn't vote.
Yes, more people praying is better, but no they don't influence God.
God's plan is already set and our prayers don't change that. Our prayers are used to bring His plan about, but never to change His plan. If God actually changes His mind about things that would mean that God's mind is not unchanging. Which would imply that God can learn new things, which would mean that God is not omniscient. -
Then he must not be omniscent, since he repented of his plan to destroy Ninevah after Jonah preached to them jerks and that got them into sackcloth.
I am not in a prayer chain, and I question the validity of them. I have seen how "prayer requests" and junk can be a cover for gossip about what's [supposedly] happening in someone's life who "needs our prayers." So can prayer chains be a semi-formalized gossip line? It's certainly possible. -
James 1:17 - With whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Clearly the Bible does not contradict itself, so we must understand what God repenting really means in the passages where this is spoken of.
The Scriptures referring to God's repentance is very much in the same vein as when they refer to God's "hand" or "arm." These are called anthropomorphisms, and they are used to give men an understanding of God by giving Him human qualities. -

The more people we have praying for something, the more people God can line up in HIS will...
Prayer changes us...
And a church that prays is a church that stays in God's will...
So, yes, more people praying is better...
We have 2 options.. the old phone system and the email option...
