1. Preaching that
Promote the prosperity "gospel"
Promote political agendas
Bashes other churches
Promote legalism
Promote one Bible over all others
Take the cross out of the gospel
Belittles the reality of hell
2. I guess you guys can think of others.

Preaching that uses the Scripture as a springboard into what they really want to say instead of preaching what the text says.
-
preaching man's word instead of God's Word, i.e., "God told me to tell you...."
-
preaching that is boring :tongue3:

I would not listen to preaching by a woman wearing pants, drinking a glass of wine reading from an NIV Bible.

Also, preaches that constantly yell and scream........and take those deep sucky airbreaths. -

(You know I was kidding, right?) -

Tonight? Only tonight? :D

I joyfully listen ANYTIME the gospel is being proclaimed, even if there is some error mixed in. There is an old saying...
"Eat the chicken, throw out the bones"
If there is error mixed in I just dont internalise it...in one ear, out the other,...and rejoice for the good that IS being presented.
There was some gospel proclaimed that I listened to 25 years ago when I was under conviction that had some error mixed in. Only the good "stuck". the error didnt.

I would not listen to any preaching that caters to perceived needs, doubts the infalliable and inerrant word of God, refers to Genesis as tales, contains multiple salvations, insists Jesus was a social reformer.

I'll listen to any of it once... The question is will I be back?
Today I went to hear a preacher who said, "Don't pray for me if you don't go to mid week prayer meeting because only the prayers of the righteous prevail"
I was asked to do altar call after his sermon where I said I would pray for anyone but him. I told him we don't have a mid week prayer meeting. -

Screamers and shouters. I right auditory nerve was damaged and loud noises cause physical pain. Actually I have never liked screamers.
Preach and explain it to me in a nice, reasonably calm voice.
