Every theological proposition has problems, consider the following, just considering how simple words we might use to describe Adam and Eve in their originally created state:
Problems if you say God created man...
...Immortal: Why was there a tree of life?
...Mortal: Isn't death the penalty for sin?
...Perfect: Do perfect beings sin?
...Imperfect: Does God create imperfect beings?
...Without absolute free will: How is man responsible for his sin?
...With Absolute free will: Will we be able to sin in heaven?

Whatever the theology: God does things for His Good Pleasure and Will. That He even allows us to stay on this planet today is testimony to His Grace, Love, Mercy and Longsuffering.
How much can the clay understand the Potter? "Punctuated pneumamorphosis?" We are dead clay; God provides the breath. We have no clue how He did that.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
