Psalm 67: "be merciful/gracious to us"

    I was studying Psalm 67 this morning and noticed a difference between the KJV/NKJV and the NAS/ESV in the way they translated the verse #1.

    The former uses the word "merciful", the later, "gracious".

    In the NT there is a distinct difference between the two concepts of GRACE and Mercy.

    Is there a similar difference in the Hebrew?
