I have a private pension to consider so Georgia won’t tax that but South Carolina will. I also have family in Bluffton SC and that’s a short ride from Savannah. Then there is the beer… hopefully some German lagers:Wink
If it’s Gods will Glen … my son (who is In Orlando now) will get a job with Porshe in Atlanta, then we can open our bibles and have a meeting of the minds. You know there are saved people in allot of churches besides ours. Let’s say a prayer for the family of Pastor Tim Keller who died of cancer yesterday. They could use Gods comfort tonight.
I can picture it just now... The Church Of Lager!... I better cool my jets the mods might get me... Wait a minute you are a mod!... Nevermind... Brother Glen:Whistling
Again, you fail to understand the difference between Justification before God, totally accomplished by the Blood of Christ, then later the Justified one is given faith, assurance that they have been Justified. They're receiving the assurance of Faith didnt cause the Justification before God, that occurred at the Cross, but they receive a knowledge of what happened at the cross, when they are given Faith.
You believe if im not mistaken, that one isnt Justified before God by the death of Christ, not until the exercise Faith or believe, regardless to the fact that Christ put away their sins before God in the past. Thats works
I do understand.
I don't agree with you.
I do not believe that salvation is coming to the realization that they have been justified .
Belief is a condition of justification.
It is not meritorious, but it is essential or else you will not be justified.
Faith is not a work.
It is set apart as opposed to works in scripture.
Sorry but it is meritorious when you make it a condition for Justification before God, doesnt matter if you dont agree. Also you give ones act of believing more preeminence in the matter of Justification before God than the Blood of Christ, good luck with that in the day of Judgment.
Okay then, thats what Justified them before God, His death for them. Simple. Rom 5:9
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Thats the object of Faith, Ones Justification by the Blood of Christ.
Isa 53:11
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
By you saying Christs death isnt Justification before God, to me is unbelief to what Christs death actually accomplished, just being honest with you friend
