Is there really a free sheet music site on the internet or is it just that I am not functional enough to locate one? I have searched til I'm blue in the face but alas all I find is suckersites (showing off who I really am). If anyone knows of any and can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Looking for Southern Gospel music mostly, some bluegrass.
Thanks -------Bart

Been there.
And I was looking for the old fashioned Christian songs, like When I Survey the Wondrous Cross. -

I didn't open the PFD format to get the piano scores so I'm not for sure this is what you and Bartimaeus need or are looking for.

How I found it in a search......
I typed in the search box area
"When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" lyrics
I get alot of returns and just look through them because some sites do show the sheet music with the notes and chords. I play guitar by ear but sometimes I have to look up and find a note that isn't familar to me everyonce in a while. Hope this helps~ -

Christian Classics Ethereal Hymnary also has a good number of hymns:
