Although not idiomatic, Pastor Bob's English/Spanish/English translation is correct......Now add some regional dialects and cultural bias and see what happens!

Want an eye-opener? Take the Mexican spanish spoken in Az. (which I speak) and talk to the Cubans here in SW Florida...You'll think they're speaking another language.

by the way, castillian spanish is under stood by all spanish speakers...and to say they i will think they are speaking another language is crazy since they use the same or very much the same spanish bible...

I assume you are going to sort them out with the same clarity you pointed out which KJV is perfectly perfect and is the basis for valid translation?

I simply said not idiomatic.....perhaps I should have said word for word it is correct (Literal Translation).........I am assuming that this is an illustration of the problems encountered translating when using a source other than the originals. If I am mistaken, please excuse me.

I'm game...
Go ahead and offer proof.....If you're correct I'll admit it.
Just make sure (please) that I understand your premise.

if you read back up you will see that i believe translation can be done perfectly, and i will prove that using one of the sentences.this mis translation was not correct from english to spanish first of all, therefore we must start there. then go to the next step.

OK let's try it:
Someone who knows English and Spanish translate this from the KJV into Spanish and then give the Spanish to some else who speaks Spanish and English and have them translate it back into English and see what we get.

KJV 1 Chronicles 26
12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18 At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19 These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
