Jim, whilst i am chinese and do speak chinese (mandarin) and its dialect (cantonese), and i understand but not speak other chinese dialects (like hokkien), I must admit that i'm most comfortable in English. However, given my present company, I shall have to suffice (poorly) as resident multilinguist.

Pastor Bob... sorry, but Altavista is good for a laugh. No body who's doing real translation work can rely on a computer to do it for them!

the King James men respected the Word of God so much that they italicised the words they added for readabilty and comprehension in the English language because you simply can't translate word for word in that string of words from one language to another (as altavista does). (syntax, you know?)It's just not comprehensible.
So i don't think that english spanish english section holds water at all.
