David J. quoted:

We understand. But your point is pointless - because the KJV does the same thing.

-
Yes. Pointless. You condemn the NKJV for doing exactly the same thing the KJV does. If the NKJV is wrong, the KJV is also wrong. If the KJV is right then the NKJV is also right.

Please try to pay attention. I know this forum stretches your 3rd grade education more than you are accustomed to, but if you make an effort you should be able to figure it out. If not, just ask any of the grown ups on the forum and we will explain the big words to you. -
Will K explained about "God forbid." I agree with him. However I talk about "God," not "God forbid." You added, "forbid" on these verses that you listed above. Did I talk about "God forbid"?
"God" and "God forbid" are not same in the Greek/Hebrew.
Look at "Moses" in the Old Testament. Lev. 8:23 said, "And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot."
The KJV said, "Moses"!!!
The Hebrew Text said, "Moses"!!!
God said, "Moses"!!!
But the NKJV changed from "Moses" to "he."
Did God say, "he"????
The NKJV changed God's Words almost 1,000 times!!! -
Earlier today you said it was 2,000. Looks like the NKJV is getting better.
-
Askjo: "The NKJV changed God's Words almost 1,000 times!!!"
Your authority for this is?
Did you count this yourself?
BTW, the example you give is too trite almost
to even argue against.
Who is the referrent for the first "he"
in the KJV1769? Moses.
Who is the referrent for the first "he"
in the nKJV? Moses.
The message is the same.
The words of both the KJV1769 and the
nKJV are not the same words as the
Greek. The word of both the KJV1769 and
the nKJV are the same as the word
in Greek (by "word" i mean "message".
-
will be more perfecter than the KJV1769! -
-
"The Old KJV and the New KJV disagree each other 2,000 times!"
"The NKJV changed God's Words almost 1,000 times!!!"
"You misunderstand what I said. I said "CHANGED" almost 1,000 times!!!! ADDED? YES! Subtract? YES All of them total 2,000+."
Well, now I see my error. -
Askjo:
Since the AV1611 and 1762/1769 KJV do not agree do you have the same problems with this as you do with the NKJV not agreeing 100% with the 1762/1769 KJV?
If you are going on a word count then you might should start with the first AV1611 and compare it to the 1762/1769 KJV. Now then keep in mind that if it's ok for the 1762/1769 KJV to "change" words etc... then why complain about the NKJV updated and sticking closer to the TR etc...?

Dr. Bob:Who cares about divers weights? When I don my scuba gear, I put on a weight belt. So?
Moses musta been heading to the Red Sea again and this time searching for the wreckage of the Pharaoh's army!
(sorry - some days this is all so laughable . . if it weren't so tragic)
It's about like the Apostles' overcrowding a Honda and driving poorly. After all they went up the Temple steps IN ONE ACCORD. -

Will's answer was a POOR EXCUSE.
You BOTH use the great KJVO DOUBLE STANDARD.
Askjo:I did not see your answer on it.
There's nothing to answer. Wisdom is justified by her children. I could randomly shoot someone and write a book of excuses for doing it, but I'd still get the needle. Fact is, the KJV used a dynamic equivalent to express a strong negative, and the KJVOs said it was OK. However, when another version does exactly the same thing, it's NOT OK to the KJVO. I've called Will down for using this double standard before, and now YOU'RE doing it. No wonder you mention Will's excuses. birds of a feather flock together, and you birds have "flocked" quite a dodo's nest.
(Sung to the tune of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "That Smell")
OOOoo, that smelll!
Cantcha smell that smelll?
OOOoo, that smelll!
That DOUBLE STANDARD'S smell's upon youuu! -
Askjo:The Old KJV and the New KJV disagree each other 2,000 times! How would you say "SAME" thing?
Same as the KJVO says he uses only the 1611 KJV while quoting from a 1769 edition. -
