Take the quiz and post the results. Lest see how the BB drives.
Here is my result:
"You are an AGGRESSIVE DRIVER. You believe you own the road, and everyone else should get out of your way."
I think that probably has something to do with where I live. Here, if one is not an aggressive driver they will probably never make it to their destination.
Oh well, "when in Rome..."
EDIT: I just looked at the other responses and notices that one of them had a comic with foul language in it for the picture. For that I truly apologize (I did not create this quiz).
Quiz- What kind of driver are you?

You are a DEFENSIVE DRIVER. You are always aware of your surroundings on the road, and are as prepared as possible for accidents or road hazards.

I am an average driver.
BTW, there is nothing that tells you the true personality of a person like riding in a car while they drive.
When I take a test drive with people for work ( I sell Subarus for a living) I can tell how the negotiations will go over price by the way they drive a car! I kid you not! -
I hope I am not the only one here that scores as an aggressive driver! But again, one has to be here in order to get anywhere. -
I didn't take the test. At my age, everyone wants us off the roads anyway. I only drive to village for coffee and back. If someone hits my truck it is their fault. They should know my vehicle by now.
Seriously, I must be retested every year and it gets to be a pain, just because of my age.
I am a careful driver, but tend to be on the slower side. Even daughter phones to see if I am on the road before coming to our place.
Cheers,

If I had taken this when I lived in New Jersey, the results would have been different. If you stop for RED lights in Wildwood, people start getting out of their cars to "deal with you".
That was over twenty years ago. Things may have changed. -

I showed up as a defensive driver. Well, I better! I am a DDC instructor!
However, I would like to make a couple of comments:
1. I rarely check my speedometer. The reason being is due to my training as an instructor, I am able to accurately gage my speed.
2. I do multi task when I drive
I know what I can do, and I know when to stop
3. At a light, I didn't like any of the answers. The correct answer is to have your foot covering (not applying) the brake as you are approaching the intersection. If the light is still green, move your foot back to the gas - if you move your foot back to the gas and then the light turns, you proceed on. If your foot is covering the brake - and the light turns yellow, than you can make an smooth stop.
Salty
ps Bonus question: You approach a stop sign - where do you stop at? -

I guess its about right...
You are an AGGRESSIVE DRIVER. You believe you own the road, and everyone else should get out of your way.
Nothing like slow drivers in the left lane. Talk about stress... -
1.) Tractor Driver - Best adult tractor driver in my county, FTR, for I have the trophies to prove it, having won as many (6) as all the other drivers combined who ever entered the contest that is no longer being held after 12 years, where none of the other contestants ever won more than one each, plus I have one second place and two third place trophies, as well, not having placed in the standings only three times.
2.) Cab Driver, having 'pushed a hack' for more than 10 years.
3.) Truck Driver, both P.U. and Farm Truck, as well.
4.) Automobile Driver, beside a taxi.
5.) And last but not least, the driver to distraction of my lovely, brilliant and very talented bride :love2:, at times, who still loves me anyway.

Defensive Driver....... my customers will be happy...lol
Saltcity, There have been tons of tests that prove that one gets acclimated to the speed being traveled making accurate determination of actual speed almost impossible. When I have trainees in the semi I play with the 'test' shown on the video's and I have witnessed none (including myself, and I have over 2,000,000 Safe Miles) that can do it.
Repetition on certain roadways helps bring the average difference between estimated speed and actual speed closer but variances such as faster than normal drivers in the area, traffic back ups, etc throw the whole familiarity thing right back out the window. In other words, although I know you believe that you can judge your speed (I thought I could for years) the tests prove different. Sorry. :tongue3:
