I didn't watch the POTUS tonight but did watch most of Mitch Daniels response. It was good and unfortunately I was on MSNBC and Maddow came on right after and made fun of his closing remark about the USA being a shining city on a hill again. She said why would we want to do or be a shining city on a hill.
I really try not to think these radical libs are that anti-Amrican but she takes the cake. These Obama numbed robots really don't want the US to be a Great country. We are the worlds last best hope and they don't see it at all. This community organizer has provided the koolaid and the left is gulping it down. We have to remove him by the ballot box next November. God help us.

They don't want us to be the world power. They would rather us fade into Euroesque mediocrity. They don't realize that if we do that then China will grab the bull by the horns and manipulate the world markets to the point that they will be the only economic superpower and control prices, world currency values, etc.

I think Maddow has a personal vendetta against the conservative people in this country because conservatives don't support her relationship with another woman. If conservatives supported gay rights, then she would support them,....it's all about her.

While I disagree with Maddow on probably every political and theological issue there is, I find her to be an effective spokesperson for the left, far better than the other yahoos they have on that network like Ed Schulz, Chris Mathews, Lawrence O'Donnell, et al.
As to the "shining city on a hill" metaphor, it is overused and probably should have ended once Reagan invoked it most effectively. -

Heh. now FAUX NEWS has it's own lefty l3sb1an.
....Fox now appears to be working with Soros. The network recently hired the radical-left, openly lesbian Sally Kohn, formerly of the Soros-funded Center for Community Change. The Center for Community Change received $5.8 million from Soros' Open Society Institute between 2004 and 2010. Its former Board Chair is Cecilia Munoz, now President Obama's White House director for intergovernmental affairs. Munoz is also a former National Council of La Raza vice president and former board member of the illegal immigrant advocacy group CASA de Maryland. She has been pushing housing grants to illegals in her White House position....
