Seriously, the color of Jesus' skin was probably right in the middle between black and white.
I don't think that was accidental.
I think He probably looked like...................................everyone!
:)
What racism are you talking about? And don't you think its a bit of a stretch to take my statement and make it into meaning that evolution is the beginning of racism? But I do believe evolutionary philosophy is racist.
It might be that racism is very much a part of her old man....her sin nature.
This is a sin which the Lord needs to convict her of.
You could help by showing her one Scripture which comes to mind, which is this one....Eph 4:29
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Perhaps reason with her that racial comments are driven by the sin nature....anger and pride....and are certainly not in any way edifying or loving to the hearer.
I would not necessarily say that she is not saved, but would definitely agree that this is an abiding sin from which God needs to heal her.
I think it is hard to interpret your first quote otherwise.
If you meant differently, I'm sorry and I guess you need to be a little more careful with your words.
If you are referring to the many eugenicists that incorrectly used evolution to justify their philosophy, I would disagree.
In my opinion, it is not consistent with Christianity for a man to be posting the alleged sins of his wife here to be judged by folks who wallow in sins of their own.
You're commanded to love your wife, and if you're indeed grieved by the sins of your wife, the time you spend in prayer should wear callouses on your knees.
Since he was born in a Jewish country and apparently accepted as one of them (until He started preaching "I am the Son of God", I would assume He looked like a Jewish man.
"Racism" is the belief of inherent superiority of one race over others.
Jesus' approach indicates nothing of the kind.
In today's world...God can give anyone a burden for any people group...some have a burden for "their people;" others have a burden for people quite unlike them.
Yes, He did approach others besides Jews-----even early on in His ministry----------The gospel of John wasn't but 4 chapters old when Jesus is at Jacob's Well-----and there found a woman of Samaritian race-------the insult of all insults-----a Jewish "half breed"--yet Jesus drove the "arrow of redemption" into the heart of this woman
Jesus never played the "race" card---nor does He play the "race" card today
