Keith Case & Associates and Columbia Artists Management are now accepting dates for a package show featuring bluegrass icon Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys and family supergroup Cherryholmes.

The twin billing will offer dates from fall 2008 through the summer of 2009.

I saw Ralph Stanley on the Down from the Mountain Tour back in 2002(if I recall the year correctly) in Bossier City. I saw Cherryholmes in concert this past January in Shreverport. They are really great performers.

    Ken H...

Ralph Stanley...a legend among legends...and Cherryholmes together.

    Whew!

It cant possibly get much better than that! :D

The rustic, weathered, timeless authenticity of Stanleys singing, along with his bands breathtaking old time "mountain" style bluegrass music, make for an unforgettable evening of music...particularly when teamed up with a group as talented as Cherryholmes.

    Hope they come my way!

Although I love bluegrass music, this is hardly what I would consider an imprtant world changing current event. It would be like "the Munroe Horticultural Society will be holding its annual rose show on July 17th" WOW!!!

Ken you are probably talking to about five of the thousands of members on this board. A very narrow venue. I like opera but I wouldnt keep everyone here informed every time Puccini was being performed somewhere.

Ken, didn't you know? You have to submit any news threads in advance and in triplicate to PS104_33 for his approval. If it isn't relevant to him, it should not be posted. Learn from your mistake, brother! Don't make this mistake again, as he is the final arbiter of what is and is not news.
