    Is our relationship to God the Father brought about by the same covenant as let's say the Galatians of Paul's day? If yes.

    What covenant brings that relationship about?

    If no what would be the difference?

    Historically a simple version would be this

    Covenant of Redemption.....among Father, Son , Spirit[eternity past]

    Covenant of works.....among adam and eve [ Gen1-3}

    Covenant of grace...following the fall ...{Gen 3...till the last day]it is the covenant of redemption...made effectual to the elect saints in time.

    God makes His covenant with those he intends to save.
