Memorial Day is not just any hoilday. Without the sacrifice of those it remembers, our nation would not exist.

 

And the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.

As long as it isn't my family doing the bleeding. The US has not had a "righteous" war for 50 years. Your kids want to "Kill a commie for Christ?" Go for it. Kill two birds with one stone. Maybe three.

 

One of the most asinine statements ever. And guess what? The US hasn't been at war with a communist country in over 40 years. Want to teach your kids anti-Americanism? Go for it.

 

Come on Bill. It's Memorial Day. At least wait until tomorrow to start your drive by posting.

For whom are we killing Afghanistan citizens? They are no serious threat to the US. We have open borders. It is almost entrapment to let a few crazies in and use them as an excuse for war.

 

I would be offended by such posts, but this kind of contempt is par for the course for billwald.

At least most American citizens are grateful for the honor, sacrifice, and service of our troops. Makes up for folks like this.
