Does your church recited the Lords prayer?
If so - Why?
and if for some reason, it's not repeated on weekend - how bad would that be?
If your church does no do so, Why NOT
IF a guest preacher came in one Sunday and did so ......

In the Lukan account (Luke 11:1-4), Jesus says, “When you pray, say: Father, hallowed by your name..." -

I like to pray the Lord's prayer everyday something like this...
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. By kingdom come thy will be done as in earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into sin but deliver us from evil for thine is the power! And the light! And the energy! Forever more! And Father we pray healing and protection for all who call on thy name, whether it be virus or any ailment we may possess. Also praying deliverance and protection from this Corona virus. For we ask these things in Jesus name! Amen! -
The liturgy developed over time organically around the Eucharist, which included the reading of Scripture, commemoration of saints, preaching and of course prayers. The Church's earliest liturgies, dating to the first century (e.g. the Liturgy of St. James) included the Lord's prayer. Furthermore, the Didache testifies to the use of the Lord's Prayer also in the first century.

I have never prayed the Lord's prayer in public, it has always been a private prayer and my churches of choice are either Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal Holiness, or Independent (providing they are Bible based).

2 Thessalonians 2:15. KJ21. Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold to the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word or our epistle. -

It doesn't bother me not to pray the Lords prayer in church as we are not supposed to use vain repetitions anyway. -
-
First of all - what is praying? It is talking to God!
When you talk to your parents - do you recite the same words every day?
Of course not!
The "Lords Prayer" is simply a recommendation of the things to say. -

For instance, when speaking about certain doctrines and practices from scripture, the vast majority of response (including from yourself on several occasions) has been, 'Yeah, but purple monkeys can't wash their cell phones in a martian atmosphere due to the number green being late.'
They have what is in effect, 'Common Core Theology'.
They think that they are right by simply posting their answer (in error as it is), and showing their work (as convoluted, circuitous, and non-sequitur, etc as it is), even though that answer and work violates the most basic fundamental truths in the very scripture they claim to stand upon. -

Matthew 26:44 ---> "So he [Jesus] left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing." -
---> Luke 11:1-4

Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. - Mark 7:6
The problem with repetition is it can become a mental routine.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. - Matthew 5
