Responding the OP---I agree that the Republicans are lacking a solution. I agree that more is needed for these children. I do not, however, think that pointing fingers at the lack of solution makes a Democrat of today any less guilty. Though you may not agree with abortions, you have supported them with your vote.
As a side note, if laws are passed to use taxpayer money to fund abortions and such, are the taxpayers also accomplices to murder? [That doesn't look correctly spelled. Feel free to correct]

The difference is, no one is forcing a Democrat to vote for a candidate that supports abortion.. that is that Democrat's choice. No one is even forcing them to stay yoked with the party of death... they can leave and become independent if they don't like the other parties as well.
But we have to pay taxes... we are forced to pay taxes... -

Here is evidence that contradicts the OP, quite resoundingly. See this study here that shows parental consent laws help reduce abortions anywhere from 19% - 31%:

And let me ask, which political party has been largely responsible for enacting such laws? And which political party has been largely responsible for opposing such laws and/or reversing them? -

JustChristian, would you vote for someone that promoted Rape?...
What about someone who was racists, and wanted to exterminate blacks?
Although, they could fix the economy, bring back our image in this world, guarantee a job for everyone that wanted one?
If not, then that one issue would keep you from voting for that person.
It is the same thing with us that you call "one issue" voters.. A person that believes a woman should be allowed to kill their baby, is not qualified in my eyes to be in public service and represent me. Abortion is murder, and yes your vote for prochoice candidates endorses that position... that is what a vote is.
Would you vote for Blagojovich if you could? If you were in the IL state senate, would you vote to impeach him? He is being impeached over one issue.. abuse of power...
I don't buy that you are not a one issue voter... everyone is to some point.
Somethings are so atrocious that if a politician stands for them disqualifies them from my vote. -
But I do have to say, there are not a lot of Democrats that live in this county... I live in a very red county. Even the Democrats here are mostly pro-life.
It is a true phenomonen...
If you would come to the church I pastor you would see some good examples of Democrats that are Christians...
But they put morals above politics.
but if one was running for office on a prochoice stance, they would be excommunicated...
Senator Robert Byrd was brought before his home church on charges of proabortion one time.
I would seek to do the same.
A member that supports murder should be disciplined. -
It is more simple than that...
Just ask Americans which party is Pro-choice... which one is not.... -

At least Bush appears to have appointed two pro-life Supreme Court justices. I can't even remember the last time a Democrat has done so.
What I would like to see is a pro-life amendment to the Constitution. Could we get two thirds of the state legislatures to propose the same amendment? Then we could bypass the US house and senate. Then we would only need three fourths of the state legislatures to ratify it, again bypassing the US house and senate. But I'm not sure if there are enough conservative state legislatures to ratify it. -
Why not...
Because Democrats are Pro-Choice... Which is only politically correct for Baby Killers... -

Actually it is about voting the way God wishes as mandated in scripture. -
I am not called to tell people how to vote.. but to preach against sin.
Abortion is a sin. It is murdering an innocent lil baby...
If someone can support this by supporting a political party that says it is OK, they need to repent of murder. -
-
If the Roman Catholic would discipline its members for supporting abortion perhaps something could be done. Of course we can't expect them to do something Baptists won't. -
If you gave a person a gun, knowing they were going to kill someone with it, are you not guilty also?
You empowered that person to carry out a murder.
So when you empower a woman to make the choice to kill her baby, you are just as guilty.
How do we empower people in a democratic republic? By our votes.
If a person voted for a person knowing that person was going to promote a woman's right to choose abortion... and a baby is killed after your vote because your politician empowered the woman, and the woman had her baby's brains sucked out, they you need to repent.
BTW, I voted for democrats also... Pro-Life democrats.. our Governor here in WV, Joe Manchin was endorsed by Pro-life agencies... So I voted for him... even over the Prolife Republican.. because I feel Manchin is doing a great job with our economy. We now have one of the best economies in the nation. (imagine that WV on top)
I don't support parties.. I support men and women.. and if they encourage women to get abortions, my support for them is not there.
