The Bible Brodcasting Network, which is on the air all over the USA and all over the world, has pulled the plug on "Truth for Life" with Alistair Begg. Please email BBN and let them know you disapprove of this move. Call on them to restore the Biblical preaching of this program.

Why in the world would they do that? He is one of the best preachers in the U.S. I suspect he is too reformed for them (quotes Calvin a lot  )
I suppose MacArthur and Lutzer will be the next to go ... -
I have never heard of either of them. Maybe they pulled him for something they know, not you or others.

TomVols:
I emailed BBN and here's the reason they dropped Begg: he listens to (gasp) secular music! Did you know listening to symphony music equates with doing drugs??
******************************
It is a music problem. He is the speaker for the CCM music conference
and he shared his views with me. He let me know he enjoys music from
Pink Floyd, Beetles and Cleveland Symphony. His argument is he does it
to identify with that culture. Not good thinking in my mind. I do not
do drugs so that I can identify with the drug addict. Trust you
understand our position. He is a good Bible teacher. However, here at
BBN we need to make sure those on the air are basically in line with us
in practice as well as in teaching. We do not expect them to be exactly
where we are, but we felt this was a little to far off the line. We
believe this was best for BBN and our listeners. Thank-you for taking
the time to share your comments with us.

This is a classic mis-quote of something taken out of context entirely. I have an article sent to me by a staffer at Truth For Life. If you like, I'll send it to you. Maybe I'll post it here.

Tom, please do. I'm very interested.

Yes Tom. Send it to me.
