    I agree (except I am not offering to buy him the book).

    MacArthur seems to teach that we strive towards sinlessness, but we don't attain perfection until glorification.

    Except that he also implies that we must have Jesus as Lord over all, or else not really Lord at all!

    I have read that book, and justsugesting that in his zeal to have reall converts, tends to move towards legalism...
    In the sene that he seems to give no wiggle room for Christians to be found in any sin problem issues...

    I don't think he means perfect obedience, but that when we disobey in that area of our life we are disobient to Christ as our Lord.

    I gree wit you on tat, but still seems that he dos not seei Jesus as Lord by default, bu that its up to us to install Him as that?

    That I am not sure. I like MacArthur as a preacher but that's about the extent of it. When it comes to the Lordship debate there seems to be so many different definitions that I never gained much interest in the topic. I do believe that that the Bible presents Jesus as Lord and Savior (never one apart from the other).
