    Regarding the individual, ". . . that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance . . . ." -- Romans 2:4.

    If there's an if, there's a possibility. And if there's a possibility there's freewill.
That's why it says " if you hear His voice do not harden your heart."
Why does He tell us not to harden our heart of He does it already?

If you put personal salvation as the main story idea of the book of Romans you would get an F in my class.

Two things here. "freewill" is about one's self will as oppoosed to God's will (Matthew 7:21-23). And as to the reference you cite, the writer of Hebrews also cites (Psalms 95:7-8). Which address people, not just an individual. Not from the book of Romans.

Yep, he can choose to do that but he probably does not have the ABILITY to do so. Hmmmm, sounds like the Calvinistic position of free will! ;)

It's contained in it but is not about it.

Just like the Natural Man lacks ability to understand and come to God..... Funny how that works.

Yes that's the one part of Calvinism I agree with. Where I disagree is that God doesn't knock on the door of every heart. I believe He does.

    Every heart?

What about those who never heard the gospel and die not hearing?

Well, Romans 1 says they have the revelation of creation. If that's all they know, that's all they're responsible for.
You see? Romans said l His nature has been made plain to all. He has revealed Himself to everyone but they CHOSE to reject Him.

Here's the key to all the "chosen" "bad soil" doctrine. They rejected the first revelation thru nature so they missed the second revelation thru the Gospel.

All five points rise and fall on each other. You can't pick and choose. It sounds like you don't even know what your own understanding of theology is, you are not coherent.

The multitudes who claim Christ in these last days, claim a false Christ not contained in Scripture. It is a fantasy, non-intrusive, non-transforming gospel plucked out of context, isolated and then presented overwhelmingly by wolves in sheep's clothing

The obvious contextual misuse of Romans is evident to anyone not brainwashed with easy believism. This is the primary reason only a handful of true believers remain. Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus say that following Him would be "easy". Stop deceiving yourselves and your loved ones, without following Him (AS HE SAID to follow) there was and is no preceding, saving faith. Only a carefully orchestrated brainwashing, inoculating them from the true Gospel and the Scriptural Jesus.

Most professing even the most brainwashed religious will hear "depart from me" and not "well done" from the Lord. It is a forgone conclusion at this point since most are convinced their empty faith was real courtesy of the wolve's repetitive brainwashing.

You still have time but stop what you are doing now and follow the "listen to only God" instructions here:
