Thanks Tom . I had a big belly laugh from that one .
Ken , you know I respect you , but Paul is not going to make it . He's not the right man for the job .You have some admiration for Thompson . Switch your
allegiance .
I have never thought that Ron Paul was going to win the GOP presidential nomination. My goal has been to enjoy watching him aggravate the Republican Establishment. He has succeeded very well in doing that. Therefore, I am more than happy with his campaign and see no reason to switch since what I wanted to happen has happened and continues to happen and will continue to do so up to Super Duper Tuesday on February 5, 2008. :)
If there is any chance of the Republicans winning, it better be someone besides Giuliani and Romney, the poster children of the establishment, liberal at that.
I would love to see a return to Reaganesque policies and stances (for the most part), but the likes of Paul, Rudy, Mitt, etc. aren't going to do it. Thompson, maybe. Tancredo has some great thoughts. Where have all the good ones gone?
Ken , yesterday , on another thread , you indicated that you intended to vote for the person that you want to win an election -- regardless of party affiliation . I see a contradiction here . Set me straight .
No contradiction at all. I want Ron Paul to win the GOP nomination. However, I don't expect it to happen.
Therefore, I am happy with seeing a lesser goal fulfilled while voting for the candidate that I want to win.
