To counter the mis-information campaign.

...
Ironically, liberal social engineers who wish to use federal government power to redefine marriage will be able to point to the constitutional marriage amendment as proof that the definition of marriage is indeed a federal matter! I am unwilling either to cede to federal courts the authority to redefine marriage, or to deny a state's ability to preserve the traditional definition of marriage. Instead, I believe it is time for Congress and state legislatures to reassert their authority by refusing to enforce judicial usurpations of power.
...Because of the dangers to liberty and traditional values posed by the unexpected consequences of amending the Constitution to strip power from the states and the people and further empower Washington, I cannot in good conscience support the marriage amendment to the United States Constitution. Instead, I plan to continue working to enact the Marriage Protection Act and protect each state's right not to be forced to recognize a same sex marriage.

Exactly why should the government regulate marriage? Isn't "the ability to regulate the ability to destroy?"

Glad to do it. Just wondering if certain board members will have their ignorance illuminated, and offer an apology for their slander of Dr. Paul and his supporters.

Under a strict interpretation of the Constitution, DOMA would become unconstitutional and States or Commonwealths would be required -under the Constitution - to recognize homosexual marriage preformed in other States or Commonwealths. And this then could expand to polygamy, underage marriage - ect.....

I want to live in a country of reasonable laws -...

I agree with Ronnie. If we make marriage a federal issue at all, liberals will find wiggle room. Look at the havoc unregenerated liberals have wreaked with their twisted version of the seperation clause. Blind allegiance to a liberal agenda has twisted the commerce clause to say "we can make you purchase anything we want you to..."

As do I. That's why I won't support weak-knee'd RINO bootlickers who cannot wait to show themselves sitting next to Pelosi. Ron Paul is a true conservative, among a very few others.

Marriage is ONLY a federal issue because the IRS rules permit joint filings under restricted conditions.
