Rubio has listed Rick Warren as an advisor.

Here is the comment of Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch about Rick Warren's involvement with Indiana-based Islamic Society of North America, a Muslim Brotherhood front with ties to Hamas:

Who better to advise on religious liberty issues than a useful idiot for a Hamas front? In July 2009, Warren addressed the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America, despite the fact that it has been named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas funding case. Federal prosecutors said that ISNA had an “intimate relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood,” and were “intimately connected with the HLF” — that is, the Holy Land Foundation, the Hamas-funding charity — “and its assigned task of providing financial support to HAMAS.”

Warren is also a close friend of Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam), despite Cat’s nasheed that contains the lines, “I’m praying to Allah to give us victory over the kuffar,” and his support for the murder of Salman Rushdie for offending Islam.

Yes, clearly Rick Warren is just the guy to advise Rubio on religious liberty. And that’s it for Rubio.

Trump. Rubio. Cruz.

Each third continues to solidify their following. No substantial amount of one groups following will coalesce behind the other.

Fractured party and a fractured highly possible brokered convention.

Rick Warren is a heretic and that Rubio's mistake in making him an advisor in view of Warren's relationship with ISNA should cause Rubio to lose the Christian vote. Warren has probably taken money from the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, much like Congressman Andre Carson, a member of the Islamic cult Nation of Islam. Rubio looks very opportunistic and naïve.

Always sad to see pastors lining up to help political candidates. You can't touch the tar baby of politics as a pastor. Being a "faith adviser" is of no help to people that, ultimately, don't care about your faith. Doesn't matter if the candidate is republican, democrat, or something else.

Well said.

The notion of a brokered convention originates with Democrat college professors from their safe spaces.

The notion originates with the GOP being divided and none of the three factions---Trump supporters, Evangelicals and the Establishment never coalescing at more than 1/3 behind any of the three factions when you look at candidate support.

I think that everyone sees Rubio faltering for various reasons. I look for him to be sidelined in spite of his oratorical skills.

Asking for the help of Rick Warren shows poor judgment. As one commentator on Jihad Watch wrote:

"Rick Warren is a failed Christian because he has chosen a path that endorses Islam. In many ways, he has proclaimed a unification of Islam and Christianity. Several of his participations at Islamic seminars have shown him to be anti Israel an pro Hammas. Warren is a danger to true Christianity and continues to subscribe to his belief that the two religions should be somehow unified. That is impossible."

He's more of the establishment choice.
