Find another way to make your point.

This one was childish and idiotic.
What is his point anyway?

This just looks like another Crabtownboy drive-by.

Start a thead with no comment on his own link and then contribute nothing more.

I respect Rush Limbaugh, but am not a big fan of his. I find his talk show informative though. I don't like Colin Powell though. I wasn't surprised when he said he was going to vote for Obama. He was by no means a conservative.

Do we forget Collin Powell's sacrifice and war hero status simply because he voted for the other guy? Does that mean one can only be a patriotic American if they vote the way you do?

As for abortion OR, I recall hearing Powell saying he was pro-life even if the mother is in danger. I don't think you can be more pro-life than that. If you recall what he said when he announced his support for Obama, he was chased away from the right. He didn't voluntarily leave.

GWEN IFILL: You talk about making the party more inclusive. You disagree with Governor Bush on several key issues, certainly on abortion. In your speech you talked about affirmative action. These are things that you and Governor Bush don't necessarily see eye to eye on. Is it the big tent you're talking about, or are you just talking about -

GEN. COLIN POWELL: What I'm saying is that we see - we don't agree on abortion. He's pro-life and I believe in a woman's right to choose. But we can stand side by side and both of us give our opinions. I don't think it should be a litmus test to being a good Republican that you have to be pro-life.

Another thing about Colin Powell is that he also supports affirmative action too, which is another word for legalized descrimination.

Colin Powell might have had respectable military service, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with him or support his decisions. John McCain also experienced "sacrifice". I didn't vote for him either.

Who questioned Collin Powell's war sacfice or patriotism?

Collin Powell is PRO-CHOICE.

Don't make things up just to make yourself feel better.

More pointless prattle.

Not necessarily. But, I will say, imo, that socialism in unpatriotic. It is an un-American idea. We used to the be United States of America but we are rapidly becoming The Socialists States of America. Sad!
