Actually I think Rush is a pathetic figure, already having divorced three other wives. That is beyond sad. But being sad or not did not seem part of the OP or thread.

As a Christian shouldn't you have the same feelings about broken marriages no matter who it is?

Funny how some are not excusing Rush by saying he is an entertainer. I said that some time back and many here took me to task for making that statement.

He is an entertainer who has done much harm to this country and to the lives of many people.

Well, the very fact that you criticize Crab for comparing Gore to the situation and call BillWall a troll for him expressing his opinion about the marriage tells me you are a big supporter of his. On top of that, many of your posts have expressed support for the liberal agenda of Republicans.

So there is no ascribing opinions that do not exist. As far as posts without substance, you are the first prize winner. At least Crab and Robert Snow state their opinion clearly, even though it is liberal. Your posts are all over the map, and one cannot tell what your stance is. I have listened to Rush on and off since 1992. Over the years he has claimed to be a Christian on air more times than I can count.

I stand corrected then.

I don't listen to Limbaugh very much... maybe a few minutes a week while driving from one place to another during the lunch hour.

The vagueness of his statements may give some credence to the chapel speaker I referred to earlier, since he apparently tried to get Limbaugh to clarify the issue during a lunch.

I don't see anything in his personal life (as much as I know about it, which is not that much other than the wild allegations, the drug addiction problems and multiple marriages/relationships that have gone bad) to have confidence he is a follower of Jesus. His personal life seems to be a mess.

There is a large portion of the Methodist community that has been crippled by classic theological liberalism (unbelief) where the rituals and language is nearly the same as believing Christianity, but the knowledge of God has been removed. If he was raised in an environment like that, his spiritual life would be vague and his life a mess.

But that's just speculation.

Okay, I did a little research on the incident.

The assertion that there are prostitutes involved is completely unsupported unless you have evidence to the contrary.

There are other explanations for him having Viagra available while he is traveling other than assuming there are prostitutes involved. I don't do this, and I'm assuming you don't do this, but many people "hook up" at resorts while on vacations for "one night stands" or even as the beginning to longer relationships.

It's hardly something that anyone in this online community would approve of, but it is surprisingly common in our culture.

So either produce evidence tying him to prostitution, or back off your statement.

It's been offered up by someone else that he was going there to hook up with women that he met there through non-prostitution methods. I think that's totally possible. I don't agree with or like the lifestyle, but I think it's a bit of a jump to automatically assume that he is hiring prostitutes.
