Not sure how that example of your TDS refutes or even addresses anything I said...

Look at the context of Trump's statement. I think anyone who does not think Putin is smart, is quite dumb. Trump was referencing Putin's superiority to Biden.

Will the sanctions of the West on Russia, drive Putin, who I believe is insane, to use unconventional weapons and even attack other countries close to Russia?

    That is a legitimate concern.

Because what Putin has done IS IN FACT smart. Saying what Putin did was smart is NOT the same thing as condoning the actions.

You know you talk about integrity and honesty, this post is the opposite of that.

Oh poor Putin. He”s mentally unstable and other countries are being mean to him because he’s killing women and children in Ukraine and that’s going to force him to use nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons!!!

Maybe those around him aren’t insane and will stop him.

    peace to you

Yes, His name was Obama. It was Obama in 2012 that told the Russia “tell Vlad I’ll have more flexibility after the election”. Putin toned it down and then took Crimea under Obama’s watch.

Yep, now, Biden is in debt to those who paid him, through his son, to look the other way as vice President and now president.

All the corruption you imagine toward Trump has been shown to be lies, and, in fact, true toward the Dems.

But, because you are a political partisan, the truth will never change your mind.

    peace to you

I disagree. We lead by strength. That's how Reagan did it, that's how Trump did it. Russia always gets emboldened under weak presidents. (Obama, Biden, etc)

I’m having a hard time understanding how anything Putin has done here is even remotely in the category of “smart.” From a tactical standpoint we have seen an elementary tactical plan of resupply and refueling, bad morale in Russian troops, odd tactics of leaving armored vehicles in the open in an urban environment without the proper infantry defenses. Add to that he has pushed the U.S. and NATO into more cooperation than has been seen in decades, destruction of his domestic financial systems, historical neutral entities leaning towards joining the EU (which was a prelude to this invasion in the first place). I am struggling to see how any of this bizarre self destructive behavior is even remotely considered smart.

He was “smart” when Trump was president because he didn’t provoke him. Now, he has made some bad decisions in underestimating the Ukrainian desire for freedom.

    peace to you

That's because you've already drank the TDS Kool-Aid from the fake media who is reporting the lies that Trump admires Putin instead of putting the comment into the easy to understand and true context.

well, what does Obama, GWB, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter think about Putin's IQ? it's totally irrelevant, too.

This is the here and now - why did Biden ever tell Putin minor excursions into Ukraine were okay? Putin is threatening nuclear, chemical and bio warfare, so why won't Joe leave his house in Delaware?

but are they? I really don't know what is going on there, but this place is a lot bigger than Crimean is, it took us almost a month to secure Iraq and the Ukraine is 140 percent larger, it just looks tiny in comparison to Russia

What are you talking about? My post had literally nothing whatsoever to do with Trump. Talk about drinking the Kool-aid.
