No John my focus within the water baptisim/graduation ceremony example was on the fact that water baptisim/graduation are seperate and not part of the work (Christ's/student's).

The graduation ceremony example dosen't work perfectly but hopefully, well enough. Good that you pointed that out as it may have confused some. We are saved by grace through faith alone.
