Hi, my husband Carl, and I love the Lord and seek to glorify Him in New Hampshire.
I used to be on this board as Beth a few years ago...I couldn't remember my password (getting old), so I figured I'd renew my membership here so my hubby can post as well...and we only have to remember ONE password this way.
New Hampshire is a very challenging mission field.
The state motto is "live free or die"...and most people here take that to live free from any relationship with Christ.
The work the Lord generally has us do is teach young children's Sunday School class...we were so happy to be used by Him this year...we had the joy of seeing three children accept Christ.
We are very involved with our unsaved neighbors and helping them with physical needs, all the while praying as Paul did that the Lord would open a door for us to explain verbally the gospel.
Both my husband and myself have similar backgrounds.
We both were raised in Roman Catholic homes, started seeking the Lord in our late twenties when we were entangled in the cult of Armstrongism.
Through His Grace alone were we saved and brought into a loving relationship based entirely on faith in Him and His completed work on the cross on our behalf.
We have three believing teenagers, who are a joy and a help to us.
God bless you both in your NH mission field.
Nice to interact with people from the North East. I'm from New Jersey myself and I can attest to POST CHRISTIAN like world here.
New Hampshire is "Land of
former Gov. John H. Sununu," Vs., "Conservatives aren't welcome in New York," according to Governor Andy Cuomo. What didnt translate?
This fellow is really good also....great you tube videos...he sets up on college campuses and opens a microphone for anyone who wishes to ask him a question.
