Now, let's look at what the bible has to say. 2 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Paul makes it very clear that his condemnation is for joining with unbelievers in acts of idolatry; since one of the apostle's arguments to dissuade from being unequally yoked with unbelievers is, "what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?" and from 1 Cor 10:14 we know that some of the people in the church at Corinth had joined with them in such practices.

It cannot be applied to military service, business, or even marriage, for Paul, in 1 Corinthians found such marriages to be lawful.

Dave, you need to find a good bible believing, teaching baptist church, join it and submit yourself to the bible teaching by a God called and God gifted pastor who will teach you the truth of God's word. He will rid your mind of the false and yes even idiotic "doctrines" you have invented due to your terrible lack of knowledge of the scriptures.

You cannot take a literal, Messianic, Jewish kingdom and spiritually infuse churchanity, crafting it into the KOG- does not work- they are 2 separate kingdoms.

I have to disagree. The Kingdom of God is used 68 times in 10 different books of the New Testament. The Kingdom of Heaven is used 32 times but only in the Gospel of Matthew.

There is a reason for that. Matthew is written to the Jews. Many Jews of that day, as also today, will not speak or write the word "God." Many today will write "G-d" or use a different word because they believe the word "God" is too holy to speak or write. We see this all through the Old Testament where we see the word LORD instead of YHWH, (Yahwah) out of Jewish reverence for "The Name." Even when they did write or speak The Name, they changed it from YHWH by adding the vowels from the other Hebrew word for "lord" - Adonai, so they came up with YaHoWaH or Jehovah.

So the Jews of Jesus's day would use one of the substitute names to avoid speaking the Divine Name. We also see this in Mark 14:61 when the High priest asks Jesus, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”

We see another example in Luke 15:18 when the prodigal, in his repentance speech, says, “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.”

In Matthew 19:23 - 24, speaking to the rich young ruler, Christ uses “kingdom of heaven” and “kingdom of God” interchangeably.

Same thing. Just Matthew being careful not to offend the Jews' reverence for the Name of God.

Paul says covetousness = idolatry. So I stay away from covetous people in personal relationships just as I avoid adulterers and drug users. So the pagan Gog is the idol called money according to Paul.
