    Personally, I don't think there's any real negative potential. My opinion (which, admittedly, could be wrong) is that this will never result in a human hybrid, but rather animals that have humanlike traits. IMO, it will be even less human than a chimpanzee is now.

    Now, on the positive, if they are successful in their goal, they'd have animals that could grow organs that are accepted by the human anatomy.
